WHAT A COMEBACK

Delayed responses, confused looks and 'ums' were what met X-Factor host Demot O'Leary's questions after Whitney Houston made her first UK TV appearance in 12 years on last nights results show.

After a lackluster performance, which consisted of singing over pre-recorded vocals and mishaps with her dress, the 46-year-old superstar was left looking flustered, disorientated and slightly nervous. Many viewers were left wondering if Whitney’s past drug use was something that really had been left in the pass.

Whitney chose Britain's hit reality singing contest to showcase her new single to the UK public, but responses from the public have been less than brilliant. One viewer said "What a huge waste of her talent. People should watch and learn what harm one can do to ones self. I hope for Whitney and all her fans she gets a grip and rejoins this planet."

Although fans seem disappointed with Whitney's performance judge and show producer Simon Cowell said "it was great to have such a star back on the stage".
