Following the unexpected and tragic death of Boyzone's Stephan Gately, the bands manger, mentor, friend and X-Factor judge Louis Walsh will miss tonights Sunday results show.
Although Walsh will not be attending the tonights live X-Factor show, he is not flying out with the rest of Gately's Boyzone bandmates to Majorca. It is said Walsh was very shocked and exceptionally upset over the death of the 33-year old Boyzone singer.
The show will take place as usual, with fellow judges Simon Cowell, Dannii Minogue and Cheryl Cole all continuing the show in the usual way. An X-Factor spokesperson has said "Out of respect the show will begin with a sombre tone and will start with the judges already in their seats waiting for the acts to begin instead of being presented on stage with a big fanfare" Judge Simon Cowell is due to say a few words at the beginning of the show, sending his condolences to Stephan's friends and family.
