Last night approximately 16million people watched as twins John and Edward, nicknamed Jedward, were voted out of the X-Factor.
After weeks of headline grabbing performances it would seem their stint in the limelight has come to an end, but has it. It has been reported the pair already have over 100 private bookings, as well as the X-Factor tour to look forward to.
Celebrity Jedward fans took to their twitters to convey their sadness over the loss of the twins from the show. After their departure Peaches Geldof tweeted ‘'Jedward are out. I am now going to take a week out for mourning. I am in shock. It may be the end, but we witnessed something truly beautiful.'
But it wasn’t just Jedward’s departure from the programme that got everybody talking. The presence of bookies favourite, Essex boy Olly Murs in the bottom two meant he has gone from bookies firm favourite to second place with the odds of 5/2.
